ABOUT SIERRA CREST OUTFITTERS

My name is Josh Schulgen, founder and owner of Sierra Crest Outfitters. I was born and raised in Tehachapi Ca, where I currently live today with my family. I am an avid hunter and outdoorsman. My passion for the great outdoors started at a early age with my dad and continues to grow each season. My day job is working in the wind industry where I manage over 300 wind turbines. My job is without a doubt busy, but when its time to hunt, it's time to hunt! 
From the beginning, Sierra Crest Outfitters has been a dream of mine. Being able to take someone out into the wilderness and harvest a trophy of their dreams is a thrill I seek each year. Many of the friends I have today are from past hunts. I have been guiding professionally since 2015 and have been hunting at the early age of 5 with my family.
I am extremely passionate on what I do and I want to make the best experience I can for everyone. Lets go hunting!
